HUDSON, Fla. — The Hudson community is reeling from the sudden loss of 18-year-old John “Johnny” Leyden, who died in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) confirmed the tragic accident occurred on Little Road, south of Fred Street.

According to FHP reports, Leyden was driving a Nissan Xterra northbound when he lost control. The vehicle entered the median, rotated, and overturned multiple times. The violent rollover ejected Leyden from the SUV. Despite emergency response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
