The Clarendon Preparatory School family is deeply saddened by the loss of a very special friend, cherished colleague, and devoted teacher, Mrs. Hayley Mountfort.

Hayley was so much more than a colleague; she was a constant source of kindness, warmth, and inspiration. Over her remarkable 15 years at Clarendon, she touched countless lives with her gentle spirit, unwavering dedication, and the genuine care she showed to every child and staff member. Her classroom was a haven of encouragement, and her presence in our halls a beacon of positivity.

We extend our deepest sympathy to her husband, Alex, and her beloved sons, Noah and Samuel. Our heartfelt condolences also go to Hayley’s mother, her extended family, and the many friends whose lives she enriched with her radiant friendship.

While our sense of loss is profound, we will forever treasure the memories we shared. We carry with us not only the academic lessons she imparted but the far more enduring ones she taught through the way she lived her life—with grace, compassion, and unconditional love.
