Jordan Shepard Car Accident Sulphur Springs Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Jordan Shepard

The Sulphur Springs community is mourning the loss of Jordan Wayne Shepard, 34, who passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from injuries sustained in an accident. A co-owner of Green Ridge LLC, Jordan was more than a businessman; he was a man defined by faith, family, and the simple joys of hard work and companionship.

He was the son of Donald Shepard (Tammy) and stepfather Stevie Whetsell, and was preceded in death by his mother, the late Nina Hill Whetsell. Jordan’s own words best captured his spirit: a “Christian follower, lucky husband, proud Dad, Pappy J, tree man, lawn man and all-around dirt monkey.” This humble description reflected a life centered on devotion to his wife, Misty, his children, Kameron Shepard, Cheyenne and Justin Royston, and his grandchildren, Blakeleigh and Colson Cox.

Those who knew Jordan will remember his warm smile, generous heart, and the profound way he made everyone feel valued. He cherished time with loved ones, creating memories that will now be held close forever. His presence brought a unique comfort, joy, and sense of togetherness that will be deeply missed.

He is also preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Rhea Gourley, and a special brother, Kenny Hayes. Survivors include his brother, Spencer Shepard (Stephanie); step-sister, Jessica Light (Aaron); and a wide circle of extra-special friends who were integral to his life.

Though Jordan is no longer physically present, his spirit endures in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love, resilience, and everyday compassion will continue to inspire. The Shepard family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., honoring a man whose light touched so many.
