Cameron Boling Rowan County, Kentucky – Obituary Death: Human Remains Identified in Rowan County Found by Hikers
Authorities have identified human remains discovered in Rowan County as Cameron Boling, 41, of Rowan County. According to the Rowan County Coroner’s Office, the remains were originally found on April 19, 2025, when a man and his son were hiking in a remote area of Trent Ridge. After the discovery, authorities were notified, and a coordinated search of the area was conducted, leading to the recovery of additional evidence.

The remains were transported to the Kentucky State Police Forensic Laboratory, where DNA testing was carried out. Officials confirmed that the identification was made through forensic analysis.
The Rowan County Coroner’s Office announced the identification on Thursday morning.
Authorities have stated that the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Boling’s death remains ongoing. The case is being jointly handled by Kentucky State Police and the Rowan County Coroner’s Office.
